Installed PCIII and loaded the "Lars" map onto it. Cold and rainy here today. Hopefully the weather will clear up within the next few days and I can take the bike out and try it.

Hmm... I might have to look into that. My braking went from crappy to awesome (my perspective) when I parked my Harley and started riding the FZ1.

HID light

Installed an HID light on my naked FZ1 yesterday.
Tried the bike tonight.
Fantastic !!!!

I checked behind me on three occasions thinking there may have been a vehicle tailgating me. The light was that bright. This is one mod I should have done way sooner.

I used one of those HID extension cables 1m long. Allowing me to store the ballast under my seat instead of fighting to fit it behind the headlight. Perfect setup. Bought the HID kit from DDM tuning. 55w instead of 35w. Haven't done the projector retrofit yet so I may be dazzling a few. Looking for a good retrofit projector kit, meanwhile it is far better than stock several times over.

My FZ has been pretty dormant since the arrival of my DRZ so I rode it to work today. It's surprising how quickly you become accustomed to a different bike.

Did the LED turnsignal in the headlight pod deal. Found some superbright LED's online, Striking. Wired in the relay so it blinks opposite to the flush mounts on the side. Reset the TPS. Busted one bolt holding the cover to the Exhaust Valve off. Then busted an EZ-out off trying to extract the remenants, so I have a little project ahead of me. Plugs, Prestone, and Rotella T6. Mounted the Givi tail case, the soft saddlebags and trunk and the tank bag.

How much difference have the Vibronators made?

indeed my friend!! Sorry.

I am looking forward though to seeing them fitted to that fine FZ and seeing which method you go about it.

Quite a bit. I used to get vibration all through the rev range. I was having to shake the blood/feeling back into my right hand at least three times during my 35 mile commute. Now I only get vibrations between 5000-5500 RPM. Very rarely get numbness any more. They were not cheap though and they stick out an inch more than the stock bar ends did. Doesn't sound like much until you start splitting lanes.

Pulled the Gen II out for a 50-mile jaunt to watch my daughter ride (horses) after work. Trying to figure out if I like the Sargent seat compared to the Corbin. It's softer, but I don't know if the shape suits me. Need to take it on a day-long ride..

On the Gen1 it is the same size as the stock ones...just uses a larger hex to mount them

Do you have them on your Gen I then? If so, do any vibs show up, and at what rpm range?
