The Noble German Shepherd Dog

I know we have a pet thread, but since the GSDs seem to end up out here in the Off Topic area, and because we've been short on some great pics of ours, here she is. Dusty Doo!

And yes, we got over a foot of snow in 24 hours.

This is a subtle hint you puppy owners need to ante up some more pics!

CUTE!! Looks like a little wolf, almost...

I can't find any recent ones of Misha here at work, I think they're all on Celeste's camera. I'll try to post up soon!

Great shots! Last month I went to the pound and got a great dog. He's a one year old male Shepherd/Rottweiler mix. Very affectionate and trained to the teeth. He was dropped off and so he came with a name- Max. At 85 lbs it suits him. I figure the previous owner had to go to Afghanistan or Leavenworth. Either way he taught this dog to behave well.

I had to put down my old black lab in Dec. She was 17. So sad. Now, the household is bursting at the seams again with canine joy.

Oh, the doggies love the snow! Thanks for the pictures of both the beautiful pups.

I'm definitely a dog person. So why do I have two cats?

Here's Schatze as an active puppy.

The day we got her...

Acting crazy while playing

After playing in the snow...not pleased with me at all.

Acting tough...she loves to wrestle with me and loved loved loved the snow.

And just a good picture of her.

And to finish off my whoring of photos...here she is annoyed and curious at the new addition to our house.
