Of course Ryan's offer applies in Philadelphia too. Love to have you guys for a visit.

Ryan, I really love those shots. That is what I was hoping to do a few weekends ago. Just didn't have the time (and if I did, my daughter doesn't have the patience )

Thanks. I was actually in your hood on Wednesday. We went to the please touch museum over by the zoo. Man that place is HUGE! I was going to call you Tuesday night, but between the please touch and visiting my sister time would be tight. We still gotta figure out when to meet up!!

Ah, I was actually in town Wednesday night! The gf and I were getting dinner, although we were way over by Rittenhouse Square (Walnut & 20th ish). Kind of a hike from the Art Museum area.

Haven't been to the PT Museum since I was a kid. I know they moved it to a new location a few years ago. Hope you enjoyed it. I always loved that place as a kid.

Haha, we swapped places, after the museum we were in roxeburry.

You ever go to that trolley dinner over on German town pike (ice cream parlor place). That place is awesome, and they sell alcoholic milkshakes...... just sayin

I don't think so. Is it over by Manayunk? I don't get over to there often unless I'm headed to the Triumph dealer.

I'm in, of course. And I won't bitch about folks being in town and not even mentioning it.

VERY nice shots, BTW Ryan.

I have dipped my toes into HDR, and next I want to get into filters for some good time smearing action.

.... Ryan is the KING of filters (the expensive square kind). He's got a bag of them that he hangs on his belt.

I gotta plan a makeup visit to the DC area. Actually, I'll be down that way on the weekend of July 16/17 to meet up with some college friends. No time for pictures, but if I get down early enough, maybe we can grab a drink or something.

And Ryan, I've got more free weekends this summer than I thought I did. If you've got something that works (Friday or Saturday), let me know and I'll see if I can swing it.

I really gotta google springfield!! Maybe we can get a group meet-up?

So how much "time smearing action" you looking to do???? I need to get my 10 stop B+W from a local guy that was borrowing it, then John is in cue next. But after that you can use it for a while to see if its your thing or not.

FYI, its highly addicting.

You can come to my house if you want. I doubt she will let you in, though.

It totally depends on the weekend. Just give me as much notice as you can.

I don't doubt it's addicting. HDR is bad too... all of a sudden everything needs a touch.

I suspect that the 10 stop is much more difficult to use though. The amount of patience and calculation necessary is significant. The results are stunning in a much more natural way...certainly the ones that Ryan has done.
