If you are on the forum today...

My bikes in pieces. Just replaced the front forks with R1 set. Yet to install the new Penske rear shock, PC III, FCE, rear wheel etc. Just got clearance from Doc this week to ride again. Haven't since July 06, longest I've been not riding since early 70's.

Don't feel like it.
![]() To elaborate. When I ride, I wanna go somewhere and not come back home. Three day weekends are not the greatest to hit the road, and hotels are $$$$. So Im staying low.

Yeah, this isn't the best weekend to ride, either. Everybody and their brother will be on the road, and the cops are as thick as flies.

'Cause I'm riding tomorrow, when people are already at their destination, so today's for making sure the bike's in order (haven't ridden in a while).

Went for a great ride this morning, finally got off the grunge from NH yesterday, "S100", lubed the entire baby. First time I have ever used hose on her, she was very frightened; I rubbed her seat and told her it would be OK. It started to get very overcast and I just could not go through all that again. Anna and I are going to get a new LCD tv for the bedroom later this evening, Sophia is getting the old one and a cable hookup in her bedroom.

Well Bergs, the idea here is to try to keep her busy at night; and in HER room.

Daughter's birthday party begins in 5 hours, and I didn't finish painting her room yet (maybe because she wanted her room bright lime green).
As soon as I'm done though, and before 6 girls get here with make-up boxes and sleeping bags and sappy DVDs, I'm riding off. |

Rode this morning. Broke in a new front tire.
Feeling a little queezy now...thinking about neighbors, food, and missing cats.

Work, today, tomorrow and Monday. Apparently people are out buying cars, so I need to be here to finance them. At least I can see my bike from the window of my cube.

a) bike is in the shop getting a jet kit, ais removed, and a new rear tire
2) i worked my ass off in the yard this morning, so i'm too tired to ride anyway c) about halfway through a good book and a sixpack enjoying the sun on the deck 4) already rode the dirt bike around a little so i got my "fix" for the day ps. i don't mind most yard work but i would rather sandpaper the asshole of an alligator in a phone booth than trim bushes. |
