I think I'm gonna have him send the shock out to get resprung/rebuilt. It was setup for my ex, and she wasn't quite as hefty as me.

These are the ever so hard to get OMT triple clamps that I had installed. With those and a revalve from Lindeman suspension,
the bike was totally transformed from "nervous" and twitchy in the corners, to rock solid handling.

I remember when those bikes came out. Pal John C. had one of the first ones, which of course i painted for him. Those bikes were fast, light, and with a little suspension work, would handle very well.
Look forward to seeing you on your 900 soon, Erik. Should be a blast to ride again, for you.

You have a baby and no time to ride.

Deano, I was actually thinking I might want to get it painted, but the damn stickers have held up
great all these years. really amazing. I don't think the orange has faded much if at all, which amazes
me since I don't think they are clear coated on the fairings.

It's funny, when it came out it was a total game changer. A liter bike that weighed what a 600 did. Crazy shit.
Made a whooping 120 horses (49 state model). Now days, 600s make that.

Oops, did i misspell your first name? Is it Eric or Erik?
Hey, if the o.e.m. paint work is still in great condition, leave it alone. That 900 is now a classic! Still looks great almost twenty years later.

I may have already posted this pic in the thread, but who cares. This was the first weekend I had it. Would be May of 1991.

Pretty sure I'm drinking a Railroad Ale. Long since out of business brewpub.

I would have only considered it if the stickers were faded or looking bad.

Pair of Helibars to go with the Ventura and you could do a WCG on that.
