Re: let the experiment begin Max
We do modify the stock holders. We can talk on the phone, but if you have installed RT parts in your forks successfully, ours will go in their place with no problem.
I will send you the recommended setup with a ziptie through it. We will have dedicated FZ specific hardware within 30 days (according to theory...manufacturing is maddening...). Contact me max@traxxion.com and we will arrange the deal. You just have to make sure you start an independent thread when you post your findings compared to your RT parts.;) |

Re: let the experiment begin Max
Max, yes... If you posted a thread "only" about your products, I would not come in there and talk about hyperpro products or the like. Now if you were to bash my review, then yes, I would have to come in and defend my position... You understand??? It would be your thread and for me to come in and debunk you, your product, or mention the hyperpro stuff for no reason would be wrong.
Now, for the record, I never said anything "bad" about your products, I have heard very good things about them. It's the way you invaded and spammed this thread that I take issue with. Sure, your suspension products are held in high regards, I'm not questioning that at all. It's your business tactics that I take issue with. Enough said. ------------- Desmo... to answer your question (actually I said he implies that I'm lying, big difference there). Here are a few quotes from him. -- Max wrote: "your reviews look more like you are employed by Hyperpro than a consumer of their products." and "I could easily make some bogus name up, jump on here and make a highly detailed post about how wonderful my parts are, or how I installed someone else's parts and crashed my bike." -- That implies that I'm an employed by them (hyper) and that would make the whole review B.S. because of that, it would be a conflict of interest (DUH). He also implies that I've logged on here under a bogus name and bla bla bla. Enough said, I have answered your question. Cool? Please have a good week Desmo, please, no hard feelings. -Terry [Have a safe and trouble free ride] |

Re: let the experiment begin Max
Terry,
What I was saying in that context is that I personally could assume another name, jump on here, and make whatever comments I wanted about your review without any repercussion to my company. I choose not to do that. My comments are mine, and it is my fault I sell suspension parts. I can't help that. We'll have all of the parts here in a few days and we'll see if we can learn anything. |

Hmmmm.... Max, I'm really done speaking with you. You have made your points. I still stand firm by what I wrote in my first post (and what I'm riding with).
Have a very nice day Max B-) -Terry |

Re: let the experiment begin Max
So...Max...Frank....Should Terry and I sit back waiting for "Franks Review" of his "Free Suspension Parts" and contact the CEO of Hyper-Pro in preparation to completely trash, tear apart and dis-credit Franks future..."Almost Independent Review"???
Don't worry...we wouldn't do such a thing. And "THAT" is pretty much what all this past distention was all about. Not what is best and/or what's a better deal..it was about..."Board & Professional Courtesy Issues". I respect your opinion Max...and Terry an I will Resect "Franks Review"....No biggy...and now that that is past and done with..and in conclusion... Guys...I'm still drool'in over the vast improvement I experienced while TEST RIDING FZSarasotas FZ1. My stock pre-loads are "MAX"'ed out (sorry...that just cropped up and I hadta slip that in there! )...and Terrys FZ1 made mine feel like I was riding a SEE-SAW...the felt dif was truely incredible. Extremely stable and confidence inspiring through the curves and tire feedback seemed like it was courtesy of AT&T...the amazing part to me was...even though the bike felt very planted (like it was on rails)??? Terrys FZ1 still gobbled up road imperfections as smoothly or smoother than mine does. I can't comment or compare on "Steering Head Chatter" as...on Terrys Dampener Equipped FZ1 there was none...unlike mine...but...I need a new front tire and..I simply can't afford a steering damper at this time...So for now???..I'll be happy with just a new set of skins and ecstatic if and when I can dig up an extra $229 for a spring kit from hyper-pro.;) |

Hey Bill, you can always donate your bike to the local childrens park (It is a Seesaw) Hehehehe... Sorry, I could not resist. Anyway, I drool over your POWER. One day I will get the full system too. Until then, I'll deal with my "slow" slipon jet kitted ride. hehehehe....Wink wink.

Re: let the experiment begin Max
Frank, this went bad already.
The Fizz-namic Duo has already denounced our experiment to compare your RT to our parts. Your opinion is almost as worthless as that of the ever scandalous "product pushing vendor". I don't want to conduct a test that won't be taken seriously. Reality is subordinate to bliss on the FZ1OA board. I will send you my parts, but don't post anything. Please try them and share your opinions with interested parties by private email. |

Please refrain from lumping everyone on this board in to this category. I can tell you that I most certainly do not fit into that group. Also, Frank, please post your results when you can. |

meaning-less ?????
well this post is just to say there is no opinion that is meaningless - for every person who posts there are 100 reading ? look at the page views !
there is information to be gained from experimentation - and there are people on this board who take the information and make their own judgement on a product - more than not these people never post, much less be a "loud" voice there are also people who think debate= slamming and this is not accurate or pleasant to read or participate in - JMO - there has been a ton of good information bantered about on the forum - there have been more than a few opposing opinions - you and i know that somewhere someone was making a square wheel and some other guy came along and said a round one would work better after a brief argument and an even brief-r test the answer was known  i`ve been around this forum long enough for folks to know i will be subjective( as best i can ) and honest ( you betcha) in my opinion - Max free product to try doesnt mean you bought my vote - i just took the offer to mean you wanted an honest opinion about the differences between your valves and Race techs - i dont know if i am a good enough rider to feel the difference(s) but i would like to try - especially if i can just slide them onto my holders - Hey its time for a fork oil change right now Frank |

Re: meaning-less ?????
Max, that's it, you have really gone to far this time... Please explain what you mean by and who are you referring to when you say, and I quote:
---------------- ================ Max Wrote: (1/28/03 10:39:26 pm) "The Fizz-namic Duo has already denounced our experiment to compare your RT to our parts. [:\]" . "Your opinion is almost as worthless as that of the ever scandalous "product pushing vendor". "Reality is subordinate to bliss on the FZ1OA board." Why are you lumping me in that statement????? Man, I think it's time to talk to the admins because, you have crossed the line one to many times... Once again, you have added a personal attack against me. ================ ---------------- Note: This part is only to Max, It's not meant to insult or question any member here. This does not reflect how I feel about the rest of my fellow friendly members or the setups that they choose to use on their FZ's (I know Penski is a great product and have acknowledged your excellent setups). BUT, I have to voice my feelings with Max. Please don't get in the middle of this. In fact, may I suggest that the readers pass over this portion, Thank You. ================ ---------------- Max, I have pleaded with you, but now I have no choice... Sometimes I'm too nice and people like you think you can walk on my back because of it. Well, "nice" is over and I'm going to lay it out straight for you dude. --- (1) You have used personal attacks to discredit me, my friends, and other fellow members. (2) You have gone the route of bashing a competitors product. This is considered a very bad way of doing business (go to back to school and take Business 101). (3) You have tried everything in your power to make me or others feel bad about choosing a product that "you" don't recommend or approve of. (4) You have now appeared (in my opinion) to have lost your mind and start clumping people together and making all kinds of bizarre and bad statements (against the FZ10A also). (5) You make claim that no one ever uses a HyperPro spring on the track or street, which is pure baloney. I have listed many teams that do and some very famous people who would recommend them. --- Now, I don't care what "magazine" wrote an article on your company. You have an inflated skull "I am god" attitude and I am amazed at your tenacity and your willingness to go so low to sell your products. So what... Magazines write many articles on many people and there are hundreds of thousands of magazines out there. Your are nothing special, just another guy trying to make it in the "parts for bikes" world who had a write up done on your product. This does not make you the "be all, end all" of suspension tuners (that's how you come off). However, you come through here with a chip on your shoulder and will burn anyone to the ground who even dares uses a product that you don't sell. You have displayed this behavior your past posts and the last one really proves it. Even before your last statement, you have regurgitated false facts such as, if you buy a Hyperpro product, no one will ever work on your bike suspension (which is complete BS). That was another scare tactic that really borderlines on slanderous. You have picked fights with potential customers, not your competition (because we are not your competition, we are all potential customers). Lets not forget, you tell people and me that my review looks more like I'm a Hyperpro employee, not a customer. This is another way to try and debunk anyone who mentions anything good about a competing product. Then you make claim that you have never said anything bad about Hyperpro or me and then belch "your" being attacked. The hypocrisy that comes out of your mouth is just plain silly. So, why do you act like you do? Well I will can add a guess here (just my opinion). You come here and read a review about a competing product done in a slick manner (the layout I mean). You panic because you are afraid that you may loose a bit of the market share. Then BAM, you go on the attack. Like a guided missile, you won't stop until you have reached your goal... Do you really think the people at Hyperpro (a division of Micron LTD, a multi million dollar company) sit around, drink coffee all day, and think of ways to deceive the public (the riders I mean)???? Do you really think that Max???? If that's your your position, then you have only proven to me how narrow minded you really are. If Hyperpro products are as sub standard or all "hype" as you imply, they would be out of business (plain and simple). Why? Because not one rider in the motorcycle world wants to waste money and install crappy gear on their rides. Now it gets to this... If you continue to pursue your business endeavor in the manner in which you display here, you will have "come and gone" as many other failed companies. It "does not" matter how "good" your product is Max, it's how you conduct yourself to the customer, the competition, and the rest of the world. You have taken the negative route, and it's sad to watch.... Burning bridges is not the way to make a small company in the warehouse district with a small glass case a "huge success".... If you want to go "BIG", not peanuts big, I mean "HUGE", you will have to sit back and rethink your business strategies and missions statement. I've seen all types of vendors and I see you heading down a path that will not do your business future any good. So, I only ask one more time... Please stop... Take a weekend off and think about it. What do you want to be... Max, the nice guy who has built his business to huge success, or Max The Basher... Hey don't take my word for it, go hire a business strategist at $500 an hour and he or she will tell you the same thing. Anyway, I wish you no ill will, and I'm sorry we had to have this little intervention, but I can no longer sit and allow you to continue to speak to me, my friends, or fellow members, or about this board the way you do. Enough said. Please take care and be well... (I really mean it). -Terry [Have a safe and trouble free ride, and a prosperous business year] |

Re: meaning-less ?????
Thank for coming to the honor of the board.
Trust me on this, our company will be strong and happy long after the FZ isn't manufactured any longer and has been retired into a museum of motorcycle history. The opinion of two people who feel to be personally attacked in some way on this board has not affected our interested consumers, and in fact, we have many new ones. It seems the truth is more important to them than my BBS Persona. But thanks for the advice.;) |

Museum of motorcycle history
Thinking of retiring our fine bikes makes me thirsty. I hope the museum has a Hall of Fame. That way we can separate the FZ's from the less deserving...
