i played red faction, doom 3, half life 2 and far cry on my 17" LCD without any problems.

I just tried to enter the coupons for that monitor and the cheapest I could get it down to was $449.40. It wouldn't accept two of the coupons......
 Anyone else actually try it and get it to work????

One last question..... What's the better contrast 600:1 or 800:1? The 800:1 19" monitor is $120 cheaper than the 600:1 20"...
 I might just go for that one.
