Givin shit, go ahead take a swing m'fer.
I think that car comes in yellow and pink, might get laid more often if you got one of those.
The auto shifts faster and you can program it for fun stuff unlike the 6sp.

Not on the steering wheel, it has a +- button on the shifter.

Paddle shifts can be fun, but I hardly ever use mine. Old habits die hard.

That is a badass Mustang! I hope you pick it up ....... Or pull the trigger ;)
I was seriously looking at one of the Stangs but my GF (soon to be fiancee) wants a Challenger. I like those so it's a good compromise.
However, Scion and Toyota went off and made one of these:

Mustang vs Challenger vs FR-S
Decisions!!! Hope you enjoy your new ride.

Not to digress from the thread intent - but Toyota/Scion styling?? The whole purpose of Toyota creating Scion was to build a separate car that would appeal to youth.
But it didn't seem to work. You don't see tons of Scions with all kinds of kids in them running around all over. You do see a lot of Scion X-boxes being used as "geek squad" mobiles, though.

Toyota just doesn't seem able to market exciting cars. Most likely a culture thing - within the company.
Hope for change - because they do make good cars.

I didn't know about the marketing campaign for youth. If that was their plan it seems to have missed. I have seen LOT's of older - (over 50 yrs old) people driving the cubes. However, the FR-S is far from a cube.
Who knows - when I was in college - the Nissan 300 zx was supposed to be the next big thing....I think it stayed in production a few years???
One thing the FR-S has on it's side is pricing. If you can produce a quality vehichle for a cheaper price - that will equal competition for the big boys (Ford & Chevy).
Don't mean to hi-jack.
Those Mustangs are awesome! I am really interested in seeing the 50th anniversary edition. I remember when my 1989 Mustang came out (actually 88 was the 1st year). We had 225 HP and that was "Awesome". LOL Now technology is getting close to doubling what we had in the late 80's. Sometimes progress is a great thing!!!

They had the MR2 for a while - I drove one of the 91-93 gen versions. handled like a go cart.

But it never really caught on except with a small cult of enthusiasts.

I had a brand new red 300 zx right after nursing school. What a car!

Nice 300ZXTT's can be had if you look around.

Most have had some issues with the 4 wheel steering however.
