S2 alternative

Is anyone aware of an alternative to the S2 bars? I'm looking to accomplish what the S2s will do but I would prefer black (and less expensive). My Bee has an aversion to silver and costly things. If there is no alternative, I will try to find some used S2 bars that I can powder coat.

IDK what "S2s" are but bikemaster brand handlebars come in many bends and they are about $30 in black or chrome.

You can mount your stock bar end weights using $3 worth of hardware from your local ACE/OSH/LOWES/HD,etc

Pretty sure he's referring to these.

Convertibars might get you there but definitely not cheaper.

Government: If you think the problems they create are bad, wait till you see their solutions.

Might find some clip-ons off another bike that might work... early R6 bars would fit a Gen1 as the upper fork diameter is the same Just tossing that idea out there

You won't have a full turning radius.

Why not? Will bars that low and forward hit the fairing? If so, then another issue would be hitting the clutch or brake levers inadvertently when they come into contact with the fairing.

I think one of the guys just put clip ons on his g1 and had to shave the fairing.

I have my S2s in a pile of parts to put on this weekend. I'm going to hit them with a few coats of plasti-dip first.
