I've said it before...In 31 years of riding, I don't think I've totalled 200,000 miles yet.
It is an incredible feat to do it on one bike, in 10 years!

Any woman that I know that rides, probably puts on under 500 miles a year, on average.
Cheers to you!

Don't mind but I don't really have a new goal. I'm just going to go back to riding it and hopefully will have more opportunities now that it's heading towards spring.

I have put 107K on a 1993 Honda ST 1100 in 5.5 years. I am on track to also have 200K on a bike in 10 years, if I can keep her running that long. The bike has 141K on it now. She will roll 200K not this summer but next. It will be at least 4 years from now before I will have 200K of MY miles on her.

There are plenty of women who ride that much. I know 3 that ride a LOT more than I do.

Oh I know there are plenty that ride a lot. I was talking about women that I know personally.

Glad you are enjoying your ST.

Wow!

I bought my 2008 three weeks ago, with 2980 on the odometer. So, I can look forward to 197,000 more miles of fun?

And hopefully more just remember to keep it shiny side up.

I'm not done with mine yet. I don't know if I'll be riding to Memphis or hauling it in 2 weeks for my trip to Daytona. That depends on the weather between here and there that day. I've done it both ways over the years.
This year we're going to go the east/south way and stay around Greenville, SC on Saturday night, watch the Supercross on TV and then Sunday off load the bikes and explore between Greenville and the Gap area. Then on Monday on to Daytona for the week

I actually had been talking with Kevin Foley last fall and he had sent me the pink Yamaha jacket I'm wearing and a pair of Alpine Star Boots. However about a month later when I sent him an update found out he no longer worked for Yamaha. So haven't talked with anyone else there since.

I just added a basic writeup similar to this one to my pages.

I'm also going to work up a set of records from my spread sheet and post in the near future. Working too many hours lately to keep up with the personal stuff

I still have Kevin's secretary's email and she works for several there at Yamaha so I just sent her this link http://fz1grl.net/?p=4 so we'll see if I get a response from there.

Denise, I just read this thread today for the first time. This makes me feel way more comfortable about buying the 2001 FZ1 with thirty something K miles, which I'm picking up next month. My first FZ1. Congratrulations on this accomplishment!

Denise is the poster child for the "You sure this thing will last more than 30,000 miles?" campaign.
