Merry Christmas, everybody!

Well, it's almost here and I've got an awful lot to do, so I thought I'd go ahead and start it out for those who do celebrate.

May God bless you, and have a Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you, Roger.

And to everyone - I hope you find this a blessed holiday with family and friends.. Remember those who aren't as fortunate, and enjoy it in your own special way.

I wish i could say that the next two days are going to be wonderful, but they will not be. I should be in Sherman Oaks helping my Maria make her egg plant parmesan from scratch, right now.
Christmas Eve was her night of the year, using a gourmet chef that her mother had used, and then Maria. Had been going on for almost twenty five years! Dinner in her condo for at least thirty to thirty five close friends! Incredible italian red sauces, over two or three types of pasta. Crab, shrimp, etc., and of course, Maria's fantastic egg plant dish. Everybody had a wonderful time, every year.
I still can't get it through my head, that this fantastic woman is gone from my life. It is what it is.
Ok, that is enough of all that. Happy holidays to you all, and all the best for the New Year.
Dean

Dean, you know we all wish you well. It will get better. I think we've all either known someone that's been through something similar, or we've been there ourselves. Change is hard to accept, but you learn what kind of metal you are made of, and you eventually pick up the pieces and move forward.

It was once said,
"Our hearts are a deep ocean, full of both heart aches and happiness. In time it all shall pass."

Hang in there, Dean... you just never know what's around the next curve. That's what keeps us going.

I am a Bah, Humbugger myself... I personally loathe the holidays, from Thanksgiving through X-mas. Until my children were born, I had no reason to celebrate, and the memories are less than mediocre. I would skip the holidays all together, given the opportunity. Of course, I have children now...

I can say that thanks to them, I have found a way to see renewed excitement, as well as a chance to replace the old memories. I may even get a tree next year, which would be the first in almost 20 years.

I wish all of you on the FZ1OA a happy holiday, and a terrific new year!

Dean, remember you have all of us here. We may not be as pretty, or as nice as Maria; but we will certainly make you laugh!

I like Christmas, but the gift giving should cease. Unless it's for kids.

Spend time with family, eat, drink and be merry. That's what Christmas is all about.

Cheers, ladies & gentlemen.
