EK chains. Opinions

I was wondering if anyone has ever used EK chains? X-ring and O-ring models specifically. If you have used one in the past, how did it do for you? I'm not looking for input on other brands...just this one in particular. Thanks!

I am currently running a 530 mvxz.
I have about 15,000 miles on it. It didn't seem to stretch as much as the stocker. I will replace it this year as it is getting a little sloppy now.
Nice chain. Quiet, few adjustments, no issues.
Oh, it has only had WD-40 as lube for it's entire life.

I'm runnin' EK ZZZ (11,000 lb. tensile strength) chains on my ol' '94 CB1000, '97 Bandit 1200S, '98 SuperHawk, and '99 ZRX 1100. Only have about 3 to 4,000 miles on 'em but no complaints. Anything has to better than the RK 530 o-ring chains I tried earlier- very short lived.

No wonder it's getting sloppy after only 15,000 miles ... ;)

Had an EK 520 conversion on my 93 VFR 750 and was happy with the chain. It was a gold x-ring and seemed to hold up well. Vortex aluminum sprockets, not so much so. I would recommend that you stay with the 530 and steel sprockets both ends, but have no complaints with EK (or DID for that matter) quality.

I've been using EK chains for years. No complaints.

Big thumbs up for the EK ZZZ chain. I have one on my
(ex-commuter) track bike (the FZR1040 in my sig)
and it's been on there for 30,000km so far and still like new.
It's a 530 size currently handling about 145rwhp.
