I just sent my shock to http://www.traxxion.com/ a few days ago. I have heard nothing but good about them.

I will tell you though, the turn around time is getting longer in the last week. I called the first of the week and was told me 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. Lee told me the a couple days ago it's 2-3 weeks now. Ouch. I'm just letting you know as you may not to be without your shock for 3 or 4 weeks this time of year.

I have seen this outfit named here too but know nothing about them. I believe they are in Oregon. http://www.gpsuspension.com/

GP Suspension is pretty well respected. Don't know of their experience with the FZ1.

Buy up an extra used shock and you won't have any downtime

Thanks for the replies, so no one knows where to go for the sfv? I really don't want to send it out to traxxion. Its my daily. What about the a part number for penske. Would I still need to upgrade the rear shock if I go with penske cause of my weight ?
Thanks again

GP suspension did my complete suspension. The rear made the most difference by far.
The rear is WAY undersprung and you will notice how much better the bike goes throught the twisties. GP was great do deal with BTW.

Traxxion is the outfit I've used for all my shock/fork work.

The backlog of work in the shop is in a constant state of flux during this time of year. In other words, it can change dramatically on a daily basis. If we get 5 sets of forks and 4 shocks for upgrades two days in a row and we have 6-8 bikes scheduled in during the week then the wait times will change. If we get nothing sent in and no bikes are scheduled for 2 or three days, then we can work on getting caught up on the forks and shocks that were shipped to us.

I will never tell a customer 1 week to turn their parts around unless we have no bikes scheduled in and only a few sets of forks sitting in the shop. My personal viewpoint and policy is to always under promise and over deliver. The customer will never be disappointed with us with that being followed.

Rock, we received your shock this past Thursday. It will leave the shop this week.

Better done right than done fast

It is that time of year where everyone is pulling their rides out of storage and finding issues.

Lee did a great job keeping me informed of the status of my shock. And he did this exactly-"under promise and over deliver". Best money spent on the bike yet.
