Yeah, the Rangers are battling some serious suck right now. Seems like they haven't gotten a quality start in forever, and now Holland is on the D list.
Kevin, if you're done on the ledge, I may step on out there, if you don't mind... WA. |

Huh, last time the Rangers beat the Giants in SF. Will Clark was playing for the Rangers, and Orel Herschiser was pitching for the Giants. At Candlestick.
Rangers 0-11 at ATT park. Giants don't have Melky or Posey tonight. Blah. No bueno. |

Yeah. Probably the first year of interleague ball. Will Clark? Damn, that goes back.

It was second year.
So tonight's game is going as I expected. Oy. Oh well. 72 degrees in sf tomorrow. Hopefully Melky is back. |

The Mariners no-hit the Dodgers! Six pitchers combined for the no-hitter, only the tenth time that has happened in MLB.

Wow, Matt pitched a gem! Complete game five-hit shutout. Gentry, Cruz, and Hamilton could've just stayed in the dugout - only three or so balls made it past the infield. Crazy.
Go Rangers. WA. |

Harrison broke more bats (7) than balls to the outfield. Not having Cabrera and Posey didn't help the cause for the G men. Hopefully they're out all weekend.

Posey was just having a day off, he's playing today. Melky is out for the series with tight hammy.
But. The Panda is back after 5 weeks. Perfect day here. 72 and sparkling!

Wonderful day. It always is, but it's even better when they get a win
Vogelson is the Gmens 5th starter. he could be a #1 on a ton of teams. Again today he was nails. Gave up one run, a bomb, and 2 hits. He's gone 7 in innings in his last 8 starts. That Texas line up is still as scary as it was in 2010 so it was nice to see Gmen pitchers lock em down. I'm liking how this team seems to be coming together. Slowly. But surely. Great pitching like 2010. But now with real pop. Melky and Pagan. What great additions. Theriot. This dude has really come to play. Tomorrow. It's Timmay. Beat Rangers twice in WS and I think he does it again tomorrow. Hes been off all year and this may be what he needs. Go get em Timmmaaaaaaaaaay!!! |

Today sucked. Criminy - 5 errors?? Scooter pitched okay, but when the infield gives the Giants 5 outs in an inning, it's hard to claw back.
Hopefully, Ogando, in a spot start, will get better defense. Go Rangers! WA. |

It was 3 errors. Hamilton missed a fly ball, the 2b didn't tag Blanco and then threw over the 1b and the pitcher that threw wild on the pick off attempt.
Roger, Blanco was the kid that really blew me away at Spring training. Well. Him and Arias. But his speed. Wow. Saw him score on an infield hit from first. And today very smart base running. And last night running in to cover 3rd on that bunt almost caught the runner napping. He's legit. Get Melky back and this team is ready to do damage. |

Plenty of room out here, I'm firmly planted in the middle of the ledge at this point.
