Sorry to hear this. I hope the kitty pulls thru. You sound like a good man, almost more concerned for the cat than your job.

Best wishes headed your way.

Unhappy

I hate to hear that, Murph. I love my animals and everyone else's too. If you need any help with the vet bills, let us know. I'll pitch in what I can.

I've always kinda prided myself on being a fairly rough and ready guy. A couple of you guys have seen me in bezerko mode.

Apparently, I'm really a drunken drama queen!

I've got no job, a busted up cat, a really bad hangover, and now I guess I need to start subscribing to Woman's Day magazine!

I'm pretty confident I'll be able to land another job OK. Won't miss those assholes. Lot of crooked, shady, stupid stuff that I should have run from long ago.

I'm just gonna chill out for a few weeks and ride, ride, ride.

Just got Boo Boo Kitty home from the vet. She's a little crumpled and really sore. Her head was in the dog's mouth at one point as were her hind quarters. One of the dogs is a Pit Bull and the other is German Shepherd. It's amazing she lived. One tough little bugger.

I can't tell you how mad I started getting once the sadness wore off. Let's just say it's good I'm never going near the place again.

Thanks for all the good thoughts. You guys are the best.

Later,
Wimpy

You think you saved that cat's life, but she might have just saved yours. Sounds like a bad job situation that might have gotten you in a really bad mess sooner or later. That cat's misfortune got you to move on for your own good.

P.S. At present, i am looking after a friends kitty down the street, till this Thursday. Age of kitty?, only a young 19 years! She does not see very well anymore, but still eats quite well. Probably in better shape than i am!

Just now happened on this thread.

Another round of well wishes from fizzyrider. We've never met, but you strike me (at least across cyberspace) as a good hearted dude who's been struggling with some inner demons for a while.

I wish you all the best for the future. Keep good thoughts, do the right thing and stick to your guns and things have a way of working out. I know words are cheap, but these I happen to believe.

Passing along some kharma to that tough little kitty of your's too. Cats are way cool.

Glad to hear the cat made it!

I would have wanted to kill those dogs with my bare hands.

It's been almost 3 years since I put my oldest cat to sleep, and I still friggin' cry when I think about her...

Animals get ya'!

sorry to hear the mishap(s)
I am an animal lover also (1 dog 2 cats adopted) but the thought of anti-freeze would have crossed my mind I'm sure.

FIZBANG,

Sorry to hear about your job and cat. I'm glad she pulled through she must be pretty tough. My dog had a bout of GDV about 3 weeks ago, we thought she was going to pass but pulled through. She's getting a lot of TLC and putting weight back on.

On the job front, you did what you thought was right, that is admirable. Good luck on finding a new and much better one.

Bob
