Yesterday got the BMW running

It came down to fuel and pretty sure it was the fuel pump, I was getting ready to pressure test it, had the tank off and everything apart and hooked it right to 12V and ran fine.
Put everything back together and it fired right up. I don't know if it was the connector, or something jammed in the pump and then came out. Ran some sea-foam in it in case there was stuff in it. Took it for a nice ride, it ran well, it is a fun bike to ride.

Got back from being out of town for work and decided to put the new front Roadsmart 3 on the BMW. I think my son is going to take it back to college this weekend and I'd feel better with a new front on it. Put the new rear on before he went to school. The bike came with Roadsmarts, and I've enjoyed them on the FZ, with the Dunlop rebate the Roadsmart 3 was about the cheapest set of sport touring tires you could get.

Decided to haul the wheel and tire to the dealer in the Corvette since it was 88 and sunny out. I'm amazed at the space they have in them.

Have hauled many bike tires in the back of my Corvette. Just can't do it if the removable top is back there...

Put some miles on it headed up through N. Ga and TN. Found a weeping oil leak from water/oil pump vent plug. I was wondering what is that burning smell? Oh it's me dripping on the CAT. Yes, I will buy a picture from the guy, BTW.

Got it dirty. Last ride of the year now that deer hunting season has started.
It has been a very enjoyable year with this awesome YZ250FX. Best toy purchase I've made.

Don't you find that fender bag to alter your handling and front end feel?

I tried one and ended up going with a tail bag.

No idea. I am on the one with the pretty blue wheels.
I use a fanny pack that holds 2 water bottles, wallet, phone and some tools.

ohhh. I do like those blue wheels. I was looking at a yz250x the other day.

I found a guy who can play with the paper work a little to get a MC title for It new.

Its a tempting offering, I hear they are the next best thing in the woods to a 300.

New part to replace oem. You can't see this (directly) once installed so here you go. Install complete 9am, first shakedown was at 3pm. Without this none of my motorcycles would be running again any time soon
