CRAZY steal on Shoei GT-Air!

In keeping with my history of providing CRAZY good steals to my beloved FZ1OA members, I'm offering my new

Shoei GT-Air Pendulum TC-6 Medium
(link to Revzilla description)
$670.99

for HALF what I just paid for it. Bought it six weeks ago and wore it twice. Works amazing like my other Shoei helmets, but I'm just not loving the internal visor (used to full visor tint). Thought I would get used to it, now it's past the return period, and I didn't keep the box. Again I just bought it, so it's perfect. Not a scratch or scuff or even a bug.

So this amazing helmet is yours for $335 (including free UPS shipping in CONUS)!

Wow!

First to raise his hand, gets it.

Just an FYI, you can buy a smoke shield for it off of amazon. It will ship from Japan.

I ride with the smoked shield and sunglasses. About the only time I use the drop down is when I am heading directly into the sun.

The drop down is real nice for the ride into work (heading east) when its still to dark for the sunglasses, it really helps when the sun starts getting over the trees.

I know the sunglasses are redundant, but that is the way I have always ridden. Smoked shield and sunglasses. Old habits die hard.

thanks for the shield info.

Whole reason why i like helmets with the internal visor is that i hate wearing glasses inside the helmet. pretty much the only reason i bought this one.

But i know everyone is different.

Does the Transitions shield for the RF1200 not fit the GT Air? I have the Transitions shield and it works great, don't know why more manufacturers don't offer it.

Shoei CWR-1 Photochromatic Pinlock Faceshield for RF-1200, RF-SR and X-14 Helmets by Transitions

Someone out there in the moto world must've tried to fit one on a GT-Air by now, wonder how good or bad it seals

You’re welcome!

I thought you’d enjoy the five pounds of bubble wrap.

I’m an over-packer.

Also some people love the pinlock and some don’t. I installed it right away, but you can always remove it if you like.

And I agree, the Shoei lids are super comfortable. They clearly sweat the details. I still have an X-Eleven that I love.

I am so glad that was a medium. Had it been a large I'd me kicking myself for not seeing this until it was too late.
