98-03 fzs600 tank on the FZ1

Does anyone else think the 98-03 FZS600 tank is simply sexy? I'm wondering if it would fit. They look similar at least in pictures. But the FZ6 just looks sleeker and slimmer to me.

We never got the FZ6 in the US until the 04 model change, so nobody has tried it here. Looks similar even the frames look close.

Might be less volume, therefore less mileage.

Definitely less capacity than a gen1 FZ1 tank. How much depends on year. The FZS600 went from 4.8 gallons to 5.3 in 2000.

Don't find any of them particularly sexy but to each his own
