My guilty pleasure would be the original, real Godzilla movies.
Saw the new Godzilla movie. Eh... I REALLY wanted to see the "REAL" Godzilla. The upright walking, bad costume Godzilla from the 1960's. The semi karate moves he made. The wrestling moves he made on Monster Zero. The misunderstood hero who's just trying to snooze peacefully when woken up by nuclear bombs. Not really into the aquatic, lit up hunched over thing it is now.

![]() Also Tarzan movies on weekend afternoons. Actually, my dad was a scary movie buff. I seem to remember seeing a re-release of King Kong in the Waynoka, OK theater when I was about five. He worked rotating backwards shifts and had trouble sleeping, so if he found something good on, he'd wake me up, even on school nights, and we'd watch scary movies together. Then I'd go back to bed and lay there scared out of my mind. ![]() No wonder I have issues.

![]() We had a show in the Bay area called "Creature Features". It was on every Saturday night at 10 or 11 pm. It was hosted by the amazing Bob Wilkens. It's where I first saw Night of the Living Dead. Probably 12 years old. There was another movie that had these turtle like creatures that would suck the bones out of people. Holy shit that movie effed me up for years too |

I don't think this was the official intro to the show but it's close enough.
Eh. Upon further review. This is definitely not the intro to the Bob Wilkins show. |

I remember one where cows were being eviscerated, and some alien that these sucking disk things he would throw. It scared the wits out of me!
I have the classics in these four disk DVDs though. Creature from the Black Lagoon, Return of CFTBL, Frankenstein, Bride of I think, Dracula, The Mummy, The Wolfman, The Invisible Man, love to get them all out and watch at Halloween. Bella Lugosi can still creep me out!

I used to watch the monster flicks. Then along came Cassandra Peterson. My guilty pleasure was the poster I had of her being picked up by Arnold Schwarzenegar when he won a local body building contest. He missed the back of her skirt when he picked her up and she was trying to pull her skirt up to conceal all that butt hanging out for the cameras.
Unfortunately, that poster went up in the fire that got all my 8 tracks and the Hondaline all weather touring suit. |

(In the old days we used gold plated handcuffs, or perhaps sterling silver. And the venue was always a luxury hotel.)
