I never understood the fascination with In-N-Out.

I don't know why, but I laughed out loud at all of those. I guess it struck my funny bone. Truth in advertising... or something.

It's yummy. And it's the only fast food I eat anymore, and it's rare. Only when Im in Davis.

The pics are good, and true, but the McD Angus Mushroom Swiss is one of the best burgers I've had. I love 'em!

Yeah, but I've had better burgers at almost every hole-in-the-wall I've been to.

How can a McD hamburger ever be the best you've had!?

That is incomprehensible. I think you need to try other places.

There's just something especially nom nom about them. Can't explain it.

The burgers at GB are most excellent. But I still love the In/Out double double.

You're not the only one, that's why I ask. Can't get a real explanation, just something to the effect of "nom".

Whenever a friend of mine came into town (SoCal), one of the events that took place with her dad's side of the fam was a family dinner of In-N-Out.

Tasty, but not O-M-G tasty (like the Mexican Burger at my local Mexican joint... even the fries are fan-fvckin'-tastic 'cause they're fried in the same grease that they fry the taquitos in, so you get mexi-meat taste).

INO == nothing frozen. That aspect of it I can taste and appreciate compared to other fast food and often some independents.

It's just a great combo of flavors. I'm no burger expert by a long shot. But I know what my taste buds like, and they love the double double.

Yah. What Jon said too.

I didn't say the best, but it's up there.

I've had a few burgers at pricey places that were crap. I've had them at the smaller chains like five guys and they're not very good either.

Best burger I've ever had was from backyard burgers, but they closed down.

To be honest, I'm not much of a burger fan, and I would not rate McD as quality, just saying that particular one is pretty good.

The best burger I've had is from B&D Burgers. 1 pound burger, cooked to order, 3 bacons, onion rings, lettuce, tomato, onion, barbecue sauce, and I think they actually cook it with love.

I've been scratching my head, wondering where the best burger I had was.

Figured it out - Amazing Joes in Muncie, Indiana. Forget what it's called but it includes fried egg and onion string - on the burger!!

Edit: here you go!
http://www.amazingjoes.com/Muncie/sandwiches.
Fugedaboudit Burger "Forget about it.", Our towering burger stacks up over 1/2 ft tall! Includes a 10-oz burger, onion rings, cheddar cheese, barbecue sauce, a fried egg, Jack cheese, steak-cut fries, mozzarella sticks AND of course - bacon! And that's just your burger... 10.99

Can't say a thing about anything else they serve, because I always refused to try anything else after trying the burger. If you are in Cleveland, you owe it to yourself to check this place out. Not just a tasty burger either but perhaps one of the coolest little restaurants in town. One of the few things I dearly miss from up there...and that's a VERY short list.
