Though I don’t know if you can reline those particular cylinders.
Those cylinders are lined with nikasil. They can be relined, but it is costly. I would ask for proof that they were relined and why.

Yeah absolutely no reason to have one re coated, unless it was high high mileage.

I have a junk Gmail account for stuff like this so I asked him. Will post his reply. Being near the coast and all that salty air could be anything I guess.
I've always heard of cylinders being "plated", never anything else. I doubt that would even be practical or cost effective.

That was fast, his reply:
"Brake lines have been replaced, fuel lines, etc."
Seems legit, if wanting an R1, I'd go look at it.

I've had some 2-smoke jugs replated, not outrageous, but those were singles.

Nickasil can be replated but as plentiful as these engines are why would you want to?
And if the cylinders were toast, what condition would the rest of the engine be in?
Probably be better off to get another engine, it's not like they can't be found.

This fellow has fabricated a tie down point in the front left and front right of the trailer. Functional, but they remind me of the Ben Hur chariot race, something from Mad Max.

Looks like both wheels and the bottom of the frame can sit on the trailer.

If he'd have spent an extra $17 on a better chock he could have skipped the limb catchers.

Unless of course you don't stop and hit what you were trying not to.

Pretty clean sporty 1k.

I tend to find the hardtail bobber crowd more approachable than the cvo guys in assless chaps.

Even found some in tourist towns sleeping next to their hardtail bike on the asphalt, right next to the touring bike guys with their rides on a trailer.

Hardcore, dunno how they do it.
