Any way to run multiple things in blue tooth at same time?

Any way to have devices running and connected to my I Pad at the same time?

I'd like my I Pad to talk via blue tooth to a device to share data and at the same time send audio to my wireless headphones.

Some sort of blue tooth router???

My iphone is connected to my Tile app, my Airpod Pros, and my apple watch at the same time.

Not quite sure what you’re looking for. I can also connect to my BT speaker if needed, it’s a not an apple product, or my Echo dots or a BT adapter i have connected to my stereo.

For example, I can connect two wireless headphones to my I pad.

But although it shows both connected, as soon as the second headphone connects it streams music, but the first one stops playing (although it shows it's still connected). If I disconnect the second headphone, the first one starts streaming again.

Neither headphones are Apple products.

I think in that particular instance you run into issues because the audio signal can't be sent to multiple devices at once.
I have no problem having my watch connected and my car connected at the same time, as both those are both transmitting different things.
Playing music to your headphones, while you do a BT data transfer from your phone to your laptop should be fine too.
If you want to broadcast music (a single signal) to multiple devices, that's where you'd need to get creative, and I'm not sure of the solution. In the analog days, you could crudely use a splitter. With BT, I'm not sure if an app could handle that, or if you'd need something more complex.

I'm pretty sure you can stream to two pairs of Airpods simultaneously. Not sure if that's Airpods only, or if that can be applied to non Apple items
