Opinions on Windshields/Screens and Mirrors

Im looking to replace my windshield and mirrors on my 07 FZ1

Id like a few opinions on what you folks think are the best for my application.
I recall about three years ago a gentlemen that made custom wind screens for our bike that looked really slick, but I lost the info.

Please throw me some opinions on windshields/screens and mirrors.

5’7” that barn door windscreen you have is a little tall. On the bright side, it might not be too hard to trade someone.

depends on what you want out of the screen, as each one offers something different for function or looks

Bar Mount Mirrors

Just finished testing bar mounted mirror kits on the Satan machine, round & square.

Kit includes modified FZ1 bar ends and direct fastened mirrors, not the typical universal expanding mount.

PM for pricing if you are interested.

I rode a friend's with that screen, didn't like it. Too much air hitting the chest when sitting upright, very good in full crouch position. I'm 5'10".

I bought a Zero Gravity Touring screen several years ago thinking that a taller, wider screen would be better. I have put many miles on with this screen but this year I tried experimenting with lifting my head above the wind stream to see what the noise difference is. I'm 5'8" and found that if I got my helmet in clean air it was quite a bit quieter.
I painted the stock windscreen black and installed it on the bike about a week ago. For me, it is much quieter! I rode yesterday and at one point I forgot to put my earplugs in. With the ZG screen I'd have been pulling over immediately to put the plugs in. With the stock screen I found I could tilt my head slightly and eliminate most of the wind noise.
I wish I'd have done some back to back testing when I first put on the ZG screen. I will loose a bit of foul weather protection with the stock screen but the noise reduction is well worth it.
