That's in the plan. HD has a deal now where you can demo any bike at the dealership of participating dealers. There are two in town; one sells Buells.

Removed the overtorqued drain bolt to find it stripped...

Wanted to find the original owner and assasinate them.

Drove to NAPA to find a tap and die, but found them closed.

Now, waiting on tomorrow (cleaning my .270 mag Weatherby).

Sawing metal rods is a pain. Got the front and rear axle crashbobbins which have a universal length connecting rod.

Waiting on NAPA to open and can't decide if I should go for a oversized "repair" self tapping plug, helicoil, time sert, or drill/retap (new bolt).

Thinking of wussying out and do the easy self tapping plug, flush with cheap oil then just use a oil extract pump to do oil changes.

Installed speedbleeders and HEL SS lines. What a pain to get pressure in the front inspite of the speedbleeders.
The lines routed weirdly, couldn't get a better way to do them and the rear was a bit long.

460 Kliometer run through the cold and fog in the valleys but the sun on the mountain tops made up for it, great ride, saw very few other riders (the young in Melbourne are shy of riding in winter)

Now sitting down to a lovely 1974 Laphroaig single malt (or three) after a dinner of roast lamb, veggies and baked potatoes.

Should sleep well tonight.
