My 15’ fz1 vs my 05’ r1 on the dyno

Both bikes modded as follows:
R1 has ecunleashed flash, full graves exhaust, PCV with auto tune, bmc filter, custom tall stacks, trimmed flies, 1/6 throttle,5w-40 t6, 16/45, 20k mi.
Fz1 has Ivan’s flash, full akrapovic, pcfc, Lars mod, bmc, custom tall stacks, trimmed flies, 1/6 throttle, 5w-40 t6, 17/47, 16k mi.
This dj250i was configured in a loaded drum config for Big HD race motors so disregard the initial dip and lower final numbers. Looks like it was reading 12% low.runs 1 hour apart today.

They do,This dyno read low for both bikes that is why I put up the disclaimer. I just wanted to show the curves, the famous 5 valve 7 k dip is gone on both bikes. Both bikes will pull top gear from 2k, a 10-12k wide powerband, pretty amazing when you think about it.

Is that "akrapovic" a full system? That makes a HUGE difference (for the better)..

Found a chart with stock bikes to compare the curves. These bikes sure do respond to a little optimizing.
