Spring has Sprung!

It's starting to heat up in the Valley of the Sun and with TRIPLE digits just around the corner we need to get in as many rides as possible.

Had a great ride with Dano, Dr. Phil and Larry.
We missed some of the Usual Suspects but still had a good day.

But we're especially missing our good friend Don and hope he can join us soon.

With a great rain during the winter, spring has sprung and has provided us with a lot of overgrowth and blooming Flora in the beautiful Sonoran Desert.

Here are some pics, hope you enjoy a taste of the Wild West.

It's amazing the places our Steel Horses take us to.

Literally in the middle of nowhere in a Canyon, somebody built this Hideout, maybe some Banditio's?

Dano and Larry checking out where they use to dump the bodies...

Been riding with my good buddy Dano for a long time since I first moved to Arizona and we've had some great times thru those years.

Larry had some of the best homemade Jerky that I've ever tasted.

Our day almost ended before it started!

My three amigos

Believe it or not it's east to get lost out here and we almost did without our Fearless Leader--Kimbro.

The Spoils of Victory after a good ride accomplished.

You know it's a good day as you drive into a nice Sonoran Sunset....

Love the desert, for the vistas it provides.

Looks like you guys had a great ride.

Ride on, gentleman!

Thanks Duke

I think you have Dano confused with my good friend Don who has cancer and we got that Husky for him.

he's only been able to ride it two times and sadly on this ride he's second from right he had to go back about a third of the way in as he was in too much pain.

I visited him just a few days ago and he still very optimistic like he always has been his whole life.

He's lost a lot of weight and strength as the chemo that's eating away at his body.

But here he was outside under a tarp working on his brand new husky with the light off and all the wires exposed mounting up new parts.

We did, it's actually much cooler in there somebody spent quite a bit of time and energy to haul the material up there and then just leave.
