We've had 41" this year, which is above normal, another 6-8 coming tomorrow night. Took this on the way to work pulling out of my garage.

We've had 3 days in the high 40's that have melted a lot. I can't imagine living someplace that gets 7' or 8' in a week and then follows it up with the same the week after.

I wonder if it will be the end of June before the passes are open? I definitely see Sonora pass on one of my routes this summer.

Ive driven I80 over Donner one time in heavy snow. Never. Again!!!

It was nuts. Can’t tell where the road is. Cars spun out all over. I couldn’t believe the road was open.

It is going to be like a couple of years ago. The cool thing is, there is a roaring waterfall in June Lake that will be awesome with so much snow melt.

Couldn't take Ohio cold, gray weather any longer. Down in Florida for a few weeks mountain biking and scooter riding. 86 degrees today and sunshine.

Outside there is a thin coating of ice on most things. Temps are hoovering around freezing but temps are supposed to rise during the overnite hours. Wind is blowing and precip is falling.

Just got done with dinner and I am watching Tucker Carlson in the living room and my better half, Ellen, is watching some girly show in the bedroom. Ellen enters the living room and states, "I am cold." To which I reply, "Well it is winter." Ellen puffs up and in an elevated voice belts out, "It is NOT winter...it is pre Spring!"

Pretty sure we are tired of crappy weather and having to watch TV at 7pm instead of being outside doing something enjoyable and constructive. C'mon Spring!

Those words.

I don't think they mean what you think they mean.

A woman here in Denver today called it Winter Fatigue. She said "if it would just snow enough to keep us stuck at home for three days..."

If we get 5 more inches in February it will set an all time record snowfall amount for the month.
We are expecting 6"+ tomorrow and several more inches this weekend.

Got 3" overnight, an inch since I've been at work, and it is still snowing. So far this is the 5th snowiest winter, but we typically get a fair amount in March.

Record snowfall here was 2007-2008 which lead to the spring that flooded 10 sq miles of town and did 2 billion worth of damage. So people are not looking forward to breaking the snowfall record.

So far 7" here at my place. Stopped snowing for now but radar shows it's just a small break and then some lighter stuff coming in...maybe another inch. The one for Sat-Sun I just saw could bring us another 8"+ depending on the storm track. I happen to like all this snow...bring it on!!!!
