Awesome February weather. I'd say go for a ride.

Our highs will only be in the low 40's this weekend. :-(

Yeah, I'm taking the day off tomorrow and riding. Testing out a new RF-1200.

I recenty got a new RF-1200 and must say it is my favorite of all the Shoeis and Arais Iíve had. I do have an oval head. Itís also the quietest, although I do wear earplugs all the time.

What Arai did you use before this RF1200? I need to replace my Profile

In a way it's odd not having any snow at all. I think it was more the constant cold and gray skies that bugged me the most when I lived up in Yankee land. I think I'll adjust.

Kind of quirky, but for me the low sun in the sky in the afternoon just feels weird.

I'd like to know that as well as I would like to be able to consider an option besides Arai.

FYI...the Signet Q followed the Profile. Now they have the Signet X which is the same shell but the vents are a bit different and a different shield.

Only about 20 commuting miles so far, but definitely happy with it. Very quiet and feels about a half pound lighter than the RF-1100 it is replacing. 87 degrees in the middle of February is a trick. We are back in the mid 40s next week.

I have a new RF-1200 also! Seems fine sitting on the couch, not sure when I'll actually test it.

Yesterday we got up to 44, was able to get the rest of the ice off the driveway, really didn't melt that much of the snow. Then 12 hours latter it was -1. I think it is up to 3 now.

Well the deep freeze we had early on before the snow froze my drain field. Sewage backed up into the house once the septic tank filled. On a list waiting for a truck to pump my tank. They have been busy....

Oh man that really sucks. It has to be very cold for a long time for that to happen I think.

Yah it’s no joke this year in the sierras. Squaw Valley got 9 feet of snow over the week. And hell, we’ve had snow in the mountains all around the Bay Area going on two weeks now.

We are already near the seasonal normal total for water in most places. And the huge snow pack means plenty of water for the summer.
