I think I'm caught up from the 12 hours worth of coverage this weekend. Not overly exciting races, but its nice to see so much going on at one of our tracks.

Johnny Rea threw out the first pitch at the A's game. I'm sure everyone in the stands were like "who are these guys??"

If anyone missed it, BeIn did a tribute to NH69, showing his first MotoGP victory which happened to be at Laguna Saca in 2005. It was a tad hard to watch.

I was a tad disappointed with the Nicky tribute because on my guide it said remembering Nicky Hayden so I expected some type of tribute to where they talked to American racers plus some input from the wsbk paddock.
That 2005 race is readily available on YouTube and I've already watched it a few times.
It wasn't bad just not what I expected.

I have to agree there. I was expecting interviews and quirky stories from other racers, but to see the race (I have seen it before) on a Laguna Saca race weekend, was kind of cool.

I can't help but think that if he died on the track, the tributes would be bigger and better. Maybe I'm being selfish though.

I would tend to agree with you there.

Cold out now, so I'm able to catch up on my video tapes.

Good. I watched Qatar on Monday. Not a whole lot to spoil there.

Just watched race 1.
Holy terrible corner entry grip. Everybody struggled. Well except for Rea.

Marquez is the magician in motoGP, Rea is the magician in SBK.

He's had that goal for quite a few years. I gotta believe some teams are looking hard at him.

kawi Has a hell of a thing going with rea and since they don’t have a gp team/bike, he’s going to be in SBK for a while..........unless someone really wants to pay for him.

I found Superbikes rather boring this year.

Got sick of Rea winning every time, it used to be much more competitive up the front.

Wouldn't it be great to see Kawi back in MGP with Rea. One could only wish....
