If you havent already, change the tim7ng belt and get another 200k plus out of it. Extremely reliable motor, t belt and water pump are the only week points I found.
Have exact same motor in our forklift at work. A beast. 24000 hours and counting.

I'm guessing that was about the time I passed that semi, which was going about 25 mph, so I could haul ass through those curves.

3/7
Last weekend, the road from The Tetons to Yellowstone (which was closed). This is right after we saw the bear, turned around at the closed gate to Yellowstone, dodged another tree that was halfway in the road, told the people who lost control (going too fast, passed us twice) and ended up bumper deep in the ditch we'd get to cell service and call some help for them...

And it was still five more miles before we could get cell service...

And the 4runner really wasn't getting enough traction and speed to roll over it, it would've taken a bit of engineering to figure out.

Did I mention we just saw a bear?

Luckily you can see the tree split in the middle when it fell, it was dead. And the two of us were able to move the two branches on the left. Otherwise it would've been wait for the maybe 3-4 cars out there with us to come along, or walk...five miles...in bear country....

Cool. I love vehicle light streaks.

It's almost like seeing something that exists in another dimension but can't be seen with the naked eye.

The stature already skyrocketed with your entry, Hammer. I recall earlier image posts on this, and other FZ1OA photog threads from yourself, A.O., JRed and others that makes one just say .

I can't seem to find any of my photo archives that contained pictures of country paths or tree-lined roads with fall foliage, so I'll either scrounge up anything that shows pavement, or just post shots of my driveway :

3/7 - section of SH-55, south of Rock Springs TX. Not sure why TX-DOT carved out about 5 or so miles of smooth 4 lane highway of banked sweepers with no crossroads & a few ranch driveways, only to go two lane when the road straightens out. But glad they did. Triple digit runs (allegedly ) to the big oak tree, then turn back south & do it again!
