I run these on my Duc 999. Best tire in the rain and in corners. About 3500 miles and they are cooked.

Update on the Diablo Supersports. Have had a chance to put more miles on them, and couldn't be happier with how they perform for the price.

Bike turns in way easier than with the stock tires, and bolts out of the turns with great grip.

Never had a chance to take 'em out for a fun run. Rear wore out, wires showing. Probably just around 10k. The front still really looks good though.. this time no sale 178 for just the one. Going back to Michelins I think,, though the idea of Metzlers has appeal.

Started losing air a week or 10 days ago on the rear. hunted for a nail, nope. replaced the valve core, nope. Replaced the entire stem, as the grommet looked old and OEM from 2005. NOPE.

Broke out the shop light and scanned every inch of the tire.

Found some weird scaling on the center, looks like it it is splits from the heat. side to side cracks. about 1/2" to 1" long, just on a 12-18" section.
about 3-4" apart started at the top and going until about 3 o'clock.

I do not have a camera good enough to get it on film.

Never seen that before, any Ideas?

I will say the mileage is impressive. If they give me another one under warranty, I should get 6500-7500 miles out of it, and I ride like an asshole

BTW, this looks like an orgy
Spray some soapy water all over it and look for bubbles..

Wow, you are doing well for those tires! I ran a few sets on my '03 CBR600RR & I only got 300-600 miles out of them - track-only use. But, I'm sure the wouldn't last me 2,500 on the street. However, they did stick until they were bald and down to the cords...
