It's at least 20 miles between pubs.

Here 11 miles is a good weekend ride, the bars are closer together.

I know people that put a lot of miles on their Harley's, I work with several. But both of them bought new Milwaukee 8 bikes and both say "That is the last bike I'll probably ever buy" They are near retirement age and figure 10 years from now they won't be riding. And I think that sums up a lot of Harley buyers, which means things will only get worse, they are getting a bump in sales with the new motor, to the same old crowd. Once that is urge to upgrade is satisfied things could really look bleak.

In fact, here's my favorite video of some "over the hill wanna be weekend warriors dressed up like pirate baby boomers" serving as role models to some members of the "millennial generation" and teaching them how to ride ...

Amazing!

Amazing that the Harley riders were geared up and wearing helmets that is.

We stopped at one place on one of the hundreds of lakes near me for lunch and there was a crew of pirates in cutoff t-shirts and dew rags that had been there for 3 hours getting "primed" for their ride to the next establishment.

out here in the year round riding weather, maybe it's different. Sure there's still some douchy RUBs, but the majority of harley guys are real riders.

Look at it zoomed out, would you like more riders, or less? when I ride with my club and I see another old guy getting a trike, I get a little sad, we all know where that is going. hopefully harley is putting some of that money made on 40k trikes into some R&D, or they will become extinct, and their riders with them

BTW, club ride this weekend up a mountain. wife is out of town, so I'm 1up, going to bring the FZ
