This jacket is in like new condition. Jacket is NOT faded just crappy camera/lighting.

Great 3 season jacket without a doubt, possibly 4 season for somewhere like the Pacific northwest.

Ha! I'm just trying to get you to put down the dough nut!

Thanks everyone for all the positive comments.

Brothaheffay - I have not had an opportunity to wear in colder weather but the light weight thermal style liner is full sleeve so with a warmer layer underneath I would imagine you could ride into the 40 degree range. The jacket is very comfortable. Tourmaster has been making this style jacket for a very long time. It also has an internal waterproof barrier.

For the price this is about as good a jacket that you could hope for.

For cool/cold weather, it blocks the wind very well, and has the full sleeve liners. I only need the large but bought XL, so I could layer up well underneath. I have a warm vest I sometimes wear underneath that really helps keep the core warm. When it gets down into the 30's and lower I add electric gloves.

When it warms up, remove the liner and there are lots of zipper openings which also have velcro strips to ensure they remain open and catch the wind. They all close down quickly when the rain hits.

I imagine he is basing it off the fact that he owns a Tourmaster Transition 4 and is very happy with it. I don't know no much about the First Gear jacket, but I can tell you the Transition 3 is an excellent jacket with tons of storage if you need it and is comfortable. I think it comes down to the "look" or style that you like.
