Nice bike, same year and color as mine.

You are probably gonna hafto cut that rear tire off, as my friend who changed mine said, " this was the hardest rear tire he ever tried to get off. " At one time, he had 3 other guys trying too help remove it...and he had a real tire changer.
We did have to cut it off....and with a tire changer... put on a set of Conti Motions...

I see a Can Am in your resume. Any thoughts or impressions on that? There is often some chatter here about them - but it seems like it is chat from afar - rather than based on experience. Real experience would be great to hear!
I rode an RT for 2 straight days last fall, about 300-350 miles, so here are my thoughts:

GOOD: comfortable, easy to ride, great wind protection, music on board, storage plentiful, ABS, great for 2 up, it is seen better by other motorists, attracks lots of attention, cornering confidence

BAD: lack luster acceleration, cornering hampered by safety device cutting power to engine way too soon, tough to avoid obsticles on road due to the wheel in center, fuel economy (right around 30)

Overall its a neat machine, designed well for a targeted audience. But if you are somewhat of a thrill seeker, and enjoy sport bike performance, it will fall short
