Cant get into Diagnostic Mode.

Bike developed a sudden rough idle after not being ridden for a couple of months. First thing I did was put in some fresh gas and some seafoam, however, the issue persists. When cold the bike will idle rough and sometimes will die but after warming up it stays steady between 1,100 and 1,300 rpm. Thought I’d check for codes/sensors and for some reason can't get into DIAG mode. Holding Select + Reset and turning the key shows a blinking fuel gauge instead of the usual H.i followed by d1.

P.S. bike rides as normal but sounds a little funny, could just be my imagination.

Is your reset button working? Holding down select while turning the key on is how you adjust the brightness of the dash - which does look just like a blinking fuel gauge.
