Finished putting on my new gold D.I.D and stock sprockets from PJ and Corey Beth. Looks sharp on the bike of course and moved my rear in by 2cm which is nice, got 32k out of the stock chain but it was time. The stock front was an interesting design, never seen one like it before but never had a bike that was original either.

You may feel “slight” vibrations for not using the stock rubber cushioned front sprocket

I'll clean her up a bit tonight....can't go on a group ride without a pristine looking machine (LOL, kinda like showing off your hot girlfriend!).

I need to clean/lube the chain anyway and I may put the K&N and give it a clean....its been awhile. I keep her pretty clean, no I really never have anything pressing to be done.

Changed the oil and put some double sided tape on the center stand so it stops banging into the rear shock wishbone. Will probably replace that for a used handlebar grip soon. Checked chain life (15-link length: 225mm), still got some miles left. Going to open up the air filter to clean it since I ended up riding a 15 mile dirt road last weekend.

Took her out, twisted her smooth like butter throttle, admired her sexy seat scowl, stared at her beautiful full luscious exhaust and just really enjoyed our time together.

Recv'd Givi side case brackets, e21 cases, and a set of used coils. Also Stabilized 5 gal of ethanol free gas, I'll be putting the bike up due to injuries from totaling my fjr. Guess I'm making the fz1 into an fjr with hard cases.

Nope they are being sent back. No reason to rig a part to fit the bike.

Sweet bike Jeff!
Can I ask where you got the front signal pods?
Did they come with resistors?

I sold them to him. They are Moto dynamics and no they don’t have resistors. You just buy an led flasher relay for $25.

I noticed they do come with resistors...at least it says so on their site.

If I remember correctly MotoDynamics sells a flash relay for $10. That was what I used when I install my front signal/running light. Since then I replaced those with Light Tech signals and repurposed the front ones to be auxillary rear turn signals in addition to the MotoDynamics integrated taillight.

I think they might have came with them. But I hate dealing with them. The relay is the easiest way.
