Rode to the gym and almost got hit again. Last 2 times I was out I almost got clipped by people who ran stop signs. It's getting so bad I am thinking of selling my bike and retiring from riding.

Yeah it's truly clean for the first time. We'll see how long it'll last

Chicongo has a lot of rats too, not just one of the players on this board. And their pizza sucks too.

Looks like I hit a nerve.

Had a condo in FL, happiest day when it sold.

BTW Chicago is as safe as any other big city if you don't hang out with rival gang members or stand near them

Whatever you do, don’t move to coastal NC. Too many Yankees and halfbacks already. Just kidding.

with how many near miss posts you have, you should probably buy a stunt cage for your bike with all the qtips driving around down there.

But back to fz1.

New rotor is in. Arrived on a Sunday.

Got an offer for $140 on ebay within 24hrs of having it on there. Not worth sitting on it for weeks to squeeze out a few extra bucks for a shitty part. So I think of it as buying an upgraded rotor for only $210

Wow.... I didn't think there was a demand for the original rotor, guess I'll put mine on Ebay.

My rotor should arrive today or tomorrow. I'll probably throw it on some time next week. Taking the Concours to the dragon for the first time this weekend.

Yeah those bike wholesalers buy them up.. I assume they keep them in stock for then an unsuspecting person comes into their shop and they show them the OEM price is $450 so they jump on the old part at half that.

Yeah, I needed a rotor last time I replaced my stator because it was impossible to get off. I had to grind 3 spots to mount a puller just to get the old one off (gen 1).

That’s fantastic, I’ll be doing the same, had no idea. 👍

I installed a Healtech gear position indicator. Very easy. I had found detailed instructions on their web site with photos of the wiring plug I needed to plug into and the two required wired to tap into. Works perfectly.
No more 7th gear searches for me!

Finally got a break in the wet weather so I put the Enfield in the garage and pulled the FZ out and rode it to work instead. So much nicer riding the FZ than the Enfield with the sidecar! Tomorrow morning looks like a good opportunity to go for a ride through the hills too. Clear skies and not too cold.
