Don’t be the troll you didn’t want commenting on your post.

Since half your front is apart now would be a great time to inspect/grease your stem bearings.

A bigger screwdriver is what you need.

It's likely that in the future I'll know less.

I’ll be the first to offer to buy the bike from you.

I’d say $1750 is fair, since it’s not running and all.

I didnít see that it was a gen 1. Good looking out, I almost overpaid for a non running bike.

$1000 then, no more!

If it's already been savage raped with a screwdriver a few times, you can imagine what shape the rest of it may be. Doubtful it's worth that.

It’s worth it to get such a legendary bike away from its disrespectful owner.

Late for a probate court hearing worth alot of $$$ and cant find my keys! In panic mode(not thinking clearly) i start trying to break my ignition with a screwdriver hoping to get it to start(obviously not a thief either). After a few minutes of loud screaming and cussing a neibor pokes his head in the garage and offers a ride, which i accept! Upon returning home and 5 minutes of calm unpanicked search i of course find my keys, but now some IDIOT FUBARRED his keyhole and the key wont turn! So broke as fu... first thing im thinking is ... well its already FUBAR to the key why not see if i can finish the screwdriver job? which several hours and drill bits ect later, believe it or not i can turn it with a LARGE scewdriver enough that i get power to the cluster and actually the starter as well, BUT.... now the just turns over and will not fire? WTF? have checked the fuel pump(its getting fuel) and starter relay circuit, which if the starter turns it wouldnt be that, correct? Nuetral light comes on and functions properly. Bike was running fine when i parked it before some IDIOT FUBARRED the keyhole so i doubt i just happened to have another issue that happened simultainously! So any thoughts suggestions of info would be highly appreciated! Could it be that im getting the keyhole turned enough to power the cluster and turn the starter but not turn on some other ignition item needed to get spark? As stated im an IDIOT so go easy on me and speak slowly please!
A taxi would have been cheaper and faster...live and learn dude
