Yeah visited my aunt in Burbank Ca. They have an 1800sqft house in what I would call an average neighborhood, they paid $850,000 for it at the tail end of the bubble burst. It's already worth quite a bit more, not sure on an exact number. That house here in Illinois is maybe $150,000ish, but Illinois sucks, doesn't have a ton of job opportunities, and lousy weather.
