A couple of my wheel guns in different configurations. The Dan Wesson 15-2 I bought just after basic training in 1985...

Scoped pistols? I'm in. Taurus Tracker in .17 HMR, red dot scope.

7 rounds of rim fire fury!

I ended up getting the light (Streamlight TLR3) for the FNP in the mail, had to modify one of the fitment keys to make it fit perfect, but it is pretty sweet.

They 'grip' like a mother, but have poor aesthetics. (IMO )

Well I was waiting til this thread died down a little since this is not a new gun. Can anyone tell me the worth (if any) of this Star 9mm or tell me where to get an honest appraisal. It was my Dad's and I'm a newbie with handguns. I don't believe Star is still in business.

Scoped hanguns, eh...?

My Ruger Single Six Hunter, topped with a Burris 1.5-4x. Sweet revolver. Convertible cylinder, too - .17HMR and .17HM2.

Now if only .17 rimfire ammo would come down in price like everyone had hoped...

I'm not an expert on the value of used guns by any means...but typically, the Star line doesn't command high dollar on resale. I'd GUESS $150 on trade-in, maybe $250 to sale to private.

You can poke around on gunbroker.com to see if there's something comparable for sale.

What I don't know is if any of the Star guns are considered rare/valuable. (One-offs, early serial numbers, etc.)

I was going to go today, but decided to get a terrible hangover, instead. I wanted to go to the indoor range because the weather has been so crappy. Tomorrow looks decent enough, but all the local outdoor ranges will be muddy swamps.

True, but I'd rather have my XDm40 on my hip and my POF415 rifle in my hands. Those are MY two guns.

Unless there are zombies.

Then I want my Smith & Wesson .41 Magnum Airweight and my Winchester 1300 Defender. Everyone knows wheelguns and shotguns are better against zombies.

Hammer, I love that damn poster.

95gtdriver, I love the XD's. Absolutely flawless. While Glocks are great I really prefer the way the XD fits in my hand. And the palm safety is an add plus.

My wife normally talks about makeup but here is 2 of her gun vids, talkin bout the LCP and other various weapons. She's no expert but she's funny as hell.

That's the one thing I don't like about XD's. Unnecessary, in my opinion.
