Nice brisk 15F ride in this morning. Have to take advantage of it though, because the afternoons are in the mid to upper 50s, and tomorrow the weather turns ugly.

Howdy!

OK, a little bit of insanity also helps.

I had to run to the store last night and decided to put on the Paradox base-layer set I picked up at Costco. OK, it was only 40's out, but I was sweating! All I had on over it was a light sweatshirt under my winter jacket (but no liner) and my draggin' jeans (which don't block much wind)..

As stated, layers!

40's is a bit different. Those Draggin' jeans will roast my butt in the summer though.

No more than textile. They breathe a lot more than my textile pants while moving, too. Without armor, however, I don't wear them to the mountains..

Hi Barb!

How's the weather in JAX this weekend? Hr ride to my daughter's show this morning was a bit brisk - 40F out - but proper gear meant only my toes were a little cool by the time I got there! Gorgeous ride home, though. Heading out again shortly..

Ah! I thought I remembered you meeting FazerPhil in JAX.

You've got that guy with a racetrack for a driveway as a neighbor then!

I'm in Tampa all the time. Alas, usually more for the dinner meetings than the daytime business..

Tired and worn out, but it's been a good day.. 2 different church services (the first one wasn't our thing), then a good lunch with some friends, and we came home and Did the outside Christmas lights.. the house looks awesome for our first Christmas here.

Now for a bit more work (ugh), and then a shower and a little tube time before sleep...
