It's always a good idea to include stolen road signs in your craigslist ad photos.

I knew a guy with a zx7r with a similar look that he replaced with what could best be described as werewolf fur. Said motorcycle also lived outside in regular Florida rain so you imagine if you can a 500lb + motorcycle covered in matted werewolf fur. Thankfully he sold it to someone who wanted to return it to a stock appearance.

There was a picture on the web for a short while, taken a few months before I bought my SuperDuke. It was of my bike, with every plastic part wrapped in gold foil.

Not kidding.

It was at the Rock Store on Mulholland Dr. Some other SD owner had spotted it and taken the photo. At first I thought it was faked but then I found some gold foil remnants in a nook on the backside of one of the plastic parts.

Sadly I did not capture a copy of the photo and it's now been taken down.

Wait . . .

Holy crap. I just did a search and found some more of the photos. They were on the Yelp profile of the guy I bought the bike from.

This is so freaking epic I can hardly believe it. That I now own this bike and have put 26000 miles on it . . .

In case you're wondering, I ride it all the time, it's running fine, and the gold wheels are dope.

ps I bought the bike on Cycle Trader. Does that count for this thread?

The previous owner knew in his heart of hearts that the bike was destined to go to Kansas.

LOL, saw this posted on another forum. Not a bike, but funny! Some words just shouldn't be combined.

Oh, dear God, this is a good day in "the best of Craigslist"!

I gotta say, I can understand the crushed velvet covered motorcycle far less than just about anything I've seen here. Even the what looks like a 1970s Honda rear swing arm stapled to the front of the Camero/MG!
