Stunning News it the World of Oil!
It appears Rotella T has been replaced by Rotella T4! How did this news not get picked up by the major media outlets? Where are the CNN and Fox news panels on this!
The bottle even has bold new graphics! I might take a day off of work to contemplate this world changing event.

T, now T4, is/was not synthetic. T6 is the synthetic.

Based on the internet (so you know it's true) the T6 "Multi Vehicle" version should be avoided for wet clutches. The other version is unchanged http://rotella.shell.com/products.html

Yep - seems like T4 is still dyno oil like T was. Only it has a new name, new bottle, new price, and has probably been changed a bit. Still OK for motorcycle use from what I can tell, as it isn't energy conserving. As I just changed my oil with it, I'll post up if the bike suddenly explodes, becomes possessed, or melts into a puddle like the evil shapeshifting liquid robot in Terminator 2 when it got overheated.
