All you cool kids with your knee down photos... it's all about getting that foot OUT!

And, how often do you get to jump a TTR125?

I have a .gif of this last one somewhere, not sure if I can post it to here though...

Maybe this will work.... This was all at the end of the track-day in a free-ride, there was only one other dude on the track, so I knew no one was going to come up on me. Sadly enough this was the worst stoppie I did, I actually ended up stalling the bike

Did my second day at the same location as last time but on the 1.7 MSRC track, counter clockwise. Much curvier when youre on it than it seems in the picture, and that little tight section aka The Rattlesnake is a hoot to hit properly. Gotta upgrades my brakes now, braking swiftly from 100 mph on the two longer straights was not confidence inspiring. HH pads and SS lines, here I come.

My second favorite shot

My favorite picture of the day. I was coming to eat the kid's lunch, and I did. He ran good lines honeslty, but I don't think his Metzler ST tires were doing him any good in the confidence and early throttle departments. But I think my body position was on point this photo and its on a slow negative camber left before a very long triple apex left hander that I would shoot underneath others as they exited towards the outside lane.

I think I might buy a photo or two. too bad the last photo can't be re-focused on my bike in the background.

TWS FZ1 Pics

Managed to get in my first two track days ever at Texas World Speedway in the last two months. Here's the album (pictures were too large to be uploaded here): https://imgur.com/a/xPABz

No knee down or anything crazy but this bike likes going fast!

I'm gonna miss TWS. I did fulfill one thing on my bucket list, though; I raced TWS in June's CMRA event. There is one more event there in Oct, but it'll be the short course, so I probably won't attend, if they even have it at all.

SONOFABITCH Photobucket is cucking us all. I have seen other threads of peoples suggestions of apps and such to upload photos, but haven't found any that work and it is a huge pain to have to resize each one. I'll have to re upload the pics another time.

Looks good rouge. TWS has such great history, 1400 new homes will replace that soon.

Pretty soon, ALL of Texas will be concrete and vacant strip centers... trees and grass can be viewed on Youtube if needed. Damn shame, it was an awesome state when I moved here in 1980.

You gotta pay more to get your images back Jake ?

Yep, I've only ridden it twice but it's a really fun track. I can only imagine how good it would be with better tires and a flashed ECU.

Thanks!! I'm still debating doing the short course in September but it won't be on the FZ anymore. I recently picked up a 2005 ZX6R for track duty

They've canceled it now. Come hang out at Houston at the end of the month. I'll be coming down for the MSRH. First time out there! Would be cool to meet up

The 05 636 should be awesome. Actually read the review for the 2006 Kawi 636 (same Gen) and it receives great marks. One came up for sale on the local FB page. Comes with a slipper clutch (huge plus in my opinion) and a little more grunt that the others.

I consider getting a 05-09 600, but I don't wanna spend $3000-$3500 for another bike just so I can go 20 MPH faster on a straight than my SV650S. It was very satisfying to pass a few 600s and a Ducati 848 this last weekend. Maybe another year and then I uprgrade after perfecting my technical skills. Fast on a slow bike translates to even faster on a fast bike yea? Who knows.
