03 Gen 1 Bee $8500 (not mine)

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2003-Yamaha...dbbbyV&vxp=mtr

Saw this on ebay tonight. Less than 700 miles. Very nice but ..............

I think this is one of those "Honey I did put it up for sale"

If this belongs to a member here, nice bike and GLWS.

ummmm

"most likely the only one on earth"

????

and

"The color combo is very rare made famous by the "KING" Kenny Roberts. "

Does that make my FZ1N Abarth replica worth $20,000???? I doubt it.

That's $1 more than list price was in October, 2002.

Was talking with Mrs. Duke this morning, evidently where her friend's kid goes to school (Michigan State U) "crazy rich Asian" students often simply abandon their cars in the student parking lot when they graduate, as they are so rich and so lazy that they don't want to bother with them. The cars are generally nice too, Audis and such. Hmm. I see a business opportunity there...

Anyway, perhaps someone like that really needs a mint 2003 Kenny edition

I tried to be positive as well.... Hope he's successful.

What does 18 years of climate controlled storage cost, gotta be $60 a month or $700 a year. Multiply by 18 and he's giving it away.

There's an 11k mile bee near me for $2400.

I put on more miles than that bike last week on three typical rides. Wonder how much my Gen 1 with 240K is worth....?

It's of course priceless....to me, and I'm going to need therapy when it's gone.
