Looking for owners manual and/or Clymers for 2002

Anyone have an owner's manual for an '02 they'd like to pay forward.

Also looking for the Clymer's. I know the Clymer's are only like 25-30 bucks but figured I'd ask here first.

Thanks,

You may know this but the Owner's Manual is available for downloading from Yamaha.

I tend to just throw a copy on the phone but you can print it etc.

You mention Clymers, were you looking for a service manual or an owners manual. FWIW, you can get the factory service manuals for about the same price as Clymers. Got mine off ebay for about $25

Here is one for $14

Thanks fellas.

Can't access this yamahamotorsports.com search function--seems to be an issue with their on line owner manual search.
Downloading it from iowaz.info as I write.

And thanks oldjeep. Gonna jump on this. Wasn't paying a lot of attention when I bought the bike. Turns out it wasn't very well maintained. My excitement got the better of me.

Speaking of poorly maintained...

Probably a separate thread but...changed the oil yesterday. Looked like the oil hadn't been changed in years. What kind of a person would do that to a perfectly good machine? LOL.

What kind of damage, if any, could this have done? To me bike seems to run fine--and dam is this thing fast.

How many miles on the bike? They aren't indestructible, but are very tolerant of poor maintenance. Even with crappy oil, it is probably fine, just get with the program now.

Yes, they are fast, handle decently, and fairly comfortable. Welcome and congrats.

Bike has 34,500 miles on her.

And, yes, in process of changing all the fluids and whatever else I can do by myself to breathe new life into her. Downloaded service manual and hard copy service manual on the way from fleabay.

Searching site now on how to change the coolant which I'm sure hasn't been changed in several years if the oil condition is any indication..

As longer as your not blowing any silver/blue smoke and it runs good I'm pretty sure you are fine. Do all the fluids including brake fluid and ride it and ride it and.........
