PJ's Parts - what can we do for you?

Our business has been growing and doing well, but it's time-consuming and we don't get on the board as much as we used to. I see questions almost everyday that need answering.. I'm really thankful for all of the members who have bought from us and answer those questions for us, it helps alot.

I'm going to try to keep this first post updated with info, and welcome anyone to post up their pics of the parts they've gotten from us to help out.

If you need a part or price PLEASE E-MAIL US, as we may not see it here as quickly. I'll try to update this first post with info as it changes, but E-mail is still the best way to get the latest/greatest pricing/availability. Our catalog might already have the answer you need, so check it out here. We know we're competitive on our prices, and customer service is a standard we won't let slip. We don't take payment for things we try to stock until we have them ready to ship, but we take deposits on high-cost items that we order specifically for you (rotors/exhausts, etc.)

We don't stock everything, but we're getting better, and we get shipments from Italy every week, so the lag times aren't long on most parts.
USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION here on the board to find lots of info that already exists on these items.

Here is some of the info on our parts, but we can get LOTS more.. e-mail us if there's somethinf from italy you need.

Rizoma Billet:
Mirrors, Rearsets, Handlebars, Risers, Lapte frames/Undertails, Sliders. The quality is top-notch, we like to call thier parts functional jewelry for you bike!
there's a video and info on the Track '01 signals here:

Ans here's a vid of both style signals on my bike:

I also have a video of the track '01's and Zero's on my bike, both day and night, that I can e-mail anyone who asks through an e-mail.

MIVV Exhausts
We first tried these when a customer asked us to order one for them, and we got one for Minx' bike. We loved it, and got one for mine.. Now we're getting them routinely, and the Price/quality are great. They make the stock exhausts for Aprilia, and thier aftermarket line is unique and sharp!
Note: We really only want to bring in the "Homolgated" versions with the DB killer. You can remove one rivet and remoce it, but it makes a big difference in noise level.

There are some great discussions of them here:

Fabbri Windscreens (and Puigg): Thread here:
These are great quality double bubble screens, and the "satin" finish they make is unique. We also carry the Puig Screens, for the 1st gen and the '06. 2nd gen info here:

Braking Wave rotors:
If you need replacement rotors or want a better rotor, these are the ticket. the pricing is good and they are usually avalable quickly. Right now (1/2/07) we can do a front pair for $420, and a rear rotor for $120

TWM Billet gas caps/bolt kits, etc.
TWM is an italian company making some of the nicest billet aluminum gas caps we've seen, and I love mine.

Ariete 90 degree valve stems.
If you check your air pressure as often as you should, these ae priceless for making it easy, especially if you check it hot and don't like getting burns from the front rotors.

Helmet Mohawks!
A search here can yield lots of fun pics, and they're $20 shipped for board members.. just6 let us know you'r a board member when you order!

I'm Still editing/Updating that first post and will add info as I think of it.

BTW - PLEASE tell your friends or post our info on other boards you belong to - We're trying to get the word out, and the board is a more powerful force on the net that we alone are.

The majority of our customers are Ducati owners, but we can get parts to help any rider make thier bike just the way they want it!

Looks like I'll be the first one in here! Wooo-hooooo!

A few months ago I got a MIVV CF can from PJ and I love it. With the dB Killer in it rumbles more than stock, but it is not much louder than stock. With the Killer out there is a world of difference. Sounds better, and the butt dyno dectect some improved performance. It is also lighter than the stocker, and is oval shaped. From top to bottom it is about the same size as the stocker, but side-to-side is about half that of the stocker. I will post some before and after pics here.

Oops, forgot the pics...

I have bought LOADS of BLING from PJ. I have to say. You will be HARD PRESSED to find better customer service.

I have bought the following from PJ:

MOHAWK Get lots of grins from the kids, and the love it too

Rizoma Zero LED Signals (front and rear): These things are sharp looking and BRIGHT as Hell. I had a fellow rider behind me once and he made the comment that when he first saw them (not lit) he thought they were so small that they would do no good. But then when he saw them light up while cruising thru town he thought he was "coming in for a landing" that they were so bright (this was during the middle of the day in BRIGHT sunshine).

Fabbri screen in Satin Blue: I love the look of it and get lots of compliments

Rizoma Bar, Bar Ends, Grips: The look of these is fantastic. They are very comfy too. I get very little BUZZ

Fehling Crash Bars: Look good, and IMO offer better protection than sliders

Pyramid Hugger
(Dont have any pics)

90 degree vavle stems: Look sharp and make it a LOT easier to check air pressure
(dont ahve any pics)

I would like to add to this and state that PJ & Minx have provided me the best experience with regard to product purchase & support after purchase!! Here are two pieces that I currently have installed on my GEN 2 that I purchased from PJ.

Rizoma Billet Grips = soooo much nicer than stock!!

Rizoma Zero indicators:

@ night with the hazards on:

still very satisfied with the performance of these two products! Thanks for the effortless transactions PJ & Minx!!

Kyle, post a side pic of these bad boys, how much do you take off of the back? It looks very clean. Everyone in LG and all folks says my lights look like a flopy bird. I would like to clean up the license plate area and the tail lights. thanx Jon

Well, I think everyone here knows my story. Prior to the crunch, I had purchased Rizoma bars, grips, and barends. Ditto with Wolfman: Little or no buzz. Great looks. the only thing I wasn't happy about was when I put a GYT-R bar riser on, it covered up the Rizoma logo on the bars.
After the crunch, it was time to build the bike I wanted all along. So, we added Rizoma turn signals, front and rear, with Rizoma adapter plates. Fabbri smoked windscreen. And a MIVV titanium GP exhaust.

I'd never buy anything from PJ ...

... but only because the bloody Atlantic Ocean is in the way and UPS want an arm and a leg to ship stuff! Besides, the cool Rizoma and MIVV stuff is made only a couple of countrys away ;)

Seriously, PJ is on a great thing with the MIVV exhaust imports. I fitted the carbon GP can to my Gen 1 and it's by far the best I've seen and heard on this bike. It weighs less than 2lbs for the can and link pipe and bolts up a treat.

With the dB killer in place, it's louder than stock but not offensive. I'd call it deep-throated and very purposeful.

With the dB killer removed, it's pretty loud but not irritating or painful loud like, say, a D&D.

I endorse PJ's suggestion to get one with the dB killer, drill out the retaining rivet and see how you like it ... if it's too loud, it's very easy to refit the baffle tube with a single rivet or bolt.

Now all I need to do is figure a way of re-timing the FZ1 to make it a 'growler' engine like Rossi's bike ...

Oh, and MIVV not only make original equipment stuff for Aprilia - they also supply Honda in Europe. And guess who made the cans on Nicky Hayden's RC211V ... ;)

Mike

PS. I note PJ's price for these cans is the same as I paid shipped to me from Italy, and he has to factor in trans-Atlantic shipping, import duties and fluctuating exchange rates. Good deal!

I can second the comment anout PJ's price. I only live about 120 miles from the MIVV factory and can only find them from a source in Genoa... and then only for the same price as PJ's BEFORE you add on IVA (value added tax). So it was cheaper to order it from PJ and have it shipped back to Italy (to my APO) than it was to get it locally. Amazing. Can't wait to get it in.

Here are the rearsets from Rizoma. I've got set a bit up and back from the stock position, but they are still very comfortable (I'm 6'2"). The shifting action is smooth as butter. I recommend doing the R1 shift arm mod with these. I'd recommend it for any set up actually, the shorter throw on each shift is a very welcome change.

Hi Mike, glad to see you & Minx doing well with the business.
Do you by any chance sell a Short Wheelbase for the '01? Been looking everywhere but can't locate one.
cheers,
Roo
