No that's Rupies...

There is $2500 worth of suspension on the bike...I said I was very negotiable and I understand the market but I will not devalue my bike...If you want a 5000 dollar bike I can remove the 5000 dollars worth of mods and sell them separate and end up with more money... I am hoping there are some folks around here that realize what goes into the kind of bike I am selling and will see that this would cost them a bunch of money to do...Or perhaps you have a Euro N model tail section or two sitting in your living room...

Go thread crap elsewhere!

I bought my 07 with 28k for $3400. Over a year later I have more in my bike than Phil is asking and his is further ahead than mine - i.e. Ignition module, fairings, Brembo MC and upgraded rotors, N tail, etc.

This is a fair price..

But you're a pussy for selling it!!

LOCO has a good point. That bike is loaded.
You will save money in the long run buying a bike that is already modded. Especially one that is modded this much.

Guys and girls, this is one of if not the best equipped FZ1 streeters out there. I've known this bike since almost new and both owners spent more time cleaning and modding this thing than riding! :-D
They both did their mods on this professionally, without shortcuts, work arounds or being cheap(unlike me ;-). So, what you are seeing is a well executed and sorted collection of the best mods from this board. No ifs buts or maybes this bike is a beauty and a beast!

So I thought and thought last night and had a nice long talk with my wife over lunch and the Beast is no longer for sale. I realized with the help of my wife that the fazer does too many things too well to get rid of in favor of a highway mile eating monster and that the twisty fun I so love would be no where near as enjoyable....

That and she said I can get another bike for XMAS....So I will be on the look out for a decent versys or vstrom over the next few months to pick up so I can commute and thrash that bike and leave the fazer for more spirited riding...Man I was digging that Connie too but alas it is not the right time yet....Thanks for all the compliments though and I am glad that some folks get what goes into a beast of a bike.

P.S. Bewarethefuzz calling me a wuss is what threw me over the edge...How can I ever replace this bike? I may have this one till the end of days...

Good choice man! I have often contemplated selling mine to get the new ZX-14R or a Busa, but they just will not do ALL the things the FZ1 does so well.

The FZ1 really does everything well, and the other bikes just don't fill that gap. They will do one thing amazing and lack in the other areas. That is where the FZ1 shines.

Phil, don't sell it...ever! Or you will regret it, much like I did when I sold it to you. Yes, folks, I'm the original owner of Phil's FZ1. I love the 2008 KTM SDR and 2011 Suzuki GSX-R750 I have now but I would have to say my 2006 Yamaha FZ1 was one of the best bikes I ever owned!

Phil - glad you stepped back from the edge, I understand the logic, but DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS AGAIN!

If you do, I'll come to tidewater, bitch slap you, and take your bike - you wouldn't deserve it then.
