I'll soon be on my third set of Bose Quiet Comfort headphones. I had the original QC I's and after they were out of warranty I broke them. So Bose sent me a set of QC II's for only $99.00 instead of the list price of $299. That was in 2004. My QC II's finally gave up the ghost on Wednesday so I called Bose to get them repaired. Instead they are sending me the QC 15's for only $99 and they pay for shipping. In this age of EXTREMELY poor customer service, Bose does it right.
I had a similar thing happen several years ago. I had a set of their little dual cube speakers and I broke one when I dropped it. Totally my fault. I called them and told them what had happened and asked if they could repair it. It was still in warranty so they sent me a new one at no charge. I would have paid for it since it was my fault but they wouldn't have it. Not too pretty bad. Smiling I am now. |
