Wow! sad. He was in a lot of movies I love. Greatest character actor that ever lived. He should of been given an award for that!

I'll bet I've seen Marty 5 times. He really nailed it on that one.

Always had a smile, and a twinkle in his eye. What a sweet man.

Always enjoyed that guy.

When I was young, he was old and now I am old.

I believe I have a Blu-Ray "Wild Bunch" around here and am going to pull it out and watch it just to remember him.

Gregory Peck, Gary Cooper. Randolph Scott, Humphrey Bogart..............

I saw him on a 747 back in the 70s coming back from Europe. I remember seeing him in his seat (first class) as I walked by and thought "Posidian Adventure!!!"

I said hi and he waved back with a smile.

The man never quit. Even recently he was doing voice work for Nickelodeon on Sponge Bob.

Marty was a great movie. It seems that all they are doing these days are re-makes, sequels or prequels. I'd like to see some new movies with a bit more character and acting, like Marty (for which I believe he got an Academy Award).

My favorite film of his the Devil's rain with William Shatner.

"Tom witnesses his brother's total conversion to a Satanic puppet in a ceremony in which Corbis is so completely taken over by the devil that he transforms into a goat-like being."
